Kila mwaka ifikapo tarehe 15 Agosti, Mama Kanisa anaadhimisha Siku kuu ya Bikira Maria Kupalizwa mbinguni mwili na roho. Hii ni siku kuu inayounganisha sherehe zote za Bikira Maria kadi ya Mapokeo ya Kanisa Katoliki. Leo katika Liturujia ya Neno la Mungu, tunapenda kuimba utenzi wa sifa na shukrani kwa Bikira Maria aliyepalizwa mbinguni. Lakini kwanza kabisa kabla ya kuzama katika fundisho hili kuu la imani, pata mchapo!

Katika mashindano ya ngumi, mshindi na aliyeshindwa wote wawili wanachakazana vibaya sana. Lakini pengine mshindi anaonekana kupigika zaidi kuliko aliyeshindwa. Vilevile ukimwangalia maiti aliyelala jenezini unapata picha kama ya mtu aliyepigwa sumbwi la nock-out. Zaidi tena ukiuangalia ulimwengu wetu huu, utajiona kama vile upo kwenye uwanja wa ngumi pindi mchezo wa masumbwi ukiendelea kati ya nguvu za kifo (zenye uzito mzito) zikichapana na nguvu za uzima (zenye uzito mwepesi). Ukiyaangalia masumbwi yanayorushwa na nguvu za kifo ni mazito na ya mfululizo yanamnyeshea ndugu uzima kama mvua za masika.
Ama kweli uzima anashughulikiwa kuanzia siku anapoingia ulingoni yaani anapozaliwa duniani. Masumbwi yanayorushwa na kifo ni ya aina nyingi sana ikiwa ni pamoja na masumbwi ya chuki, masumbwi ya upweke, masumbwi ya uhaini, masumbwi ya wivu, masumbwi ya kudhulumiana kiuchumi, kijamii, kisiasa, masumbwi ya woga, masumbwi ya magonjwa mbalimbali nk. Masumbwi mengine kama yale ya ugonjwa yanaweza kukuangusha chini na ukaugulia kitandani muda mrefu. Mbaya zaidi wakati mwingine nguvu ya mauti inaamua kumrukia uzima kwa nguvu zote na kumtupa chini hadi uzima anashindwa kuinua tena, kama inavyosema zaburi “mwenye kulala hivi hainuki tena.”

The remarkable woman who would be known as Mother Theresa began life named Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu. Born on August 26, 1910 in Skopje, she was the youngest child born to Nikola and Drane Bojaxhiu, Receiving her First Communion at the age of five, she was confirmed in November 1916. Her father died while she was only eight years old leaving her family in financial straits.
Gonxha's religious formation was assisted by the vibrant Jesuit parish of the Sacred Heart in which she was very involved as a youth.
Subsequently moved to pursue missionary work, Gonxha left her home in September 1928 at the age of 18 to join the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, known as the Sisters of Loreto, in Ireland. She received the name Sister Mary Teresa after St. Therese of Lisieux. In December of 1929, she departed for her first trip to India, arriving in Calcutta. After making her First Profession of Vows in May 1931, Sister Teresa was assigned to the Loreto Entally community in Calcutta and taught at St. Mary's School for girls.
Sister Teresa made her Final Profession of Vows, On May 24, 1937, becoming, as she said, the "spouse of Jesus" for "all eternity." From that time on she was called Mother Teresa.
She continued teaching at St. Mary's and in 1944 became the school's principal. Mother Teresa's twenty years in Loreto were filled with profound happiness. Noted for her charity, unselfishness and courage, her capacity for hard work and a natural talent for organization, she lived out her consecration to Jesus, in the midst of her companions, with fidelity and joy.

Welcome! This page explains the process by which one can - through their local Catholic church - learn more about the faith. We hope this information is helpful to you!
The process by which adults come into the Church has come to be known as "the RCIA", which is short for "The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults."

Who is the process for?

1. The unbaptized. The primary focus of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is on those who are not already Christian and have not been catechized.
2. Baptized but uncatechized. Those who have been baptized either as Roman Catholics or as members of another Christian community but did not receive further catechetical formation or instruction. These typically have also not celebrated confirmation nor Eucharist.
3. Those seeking full Catholic Communion. These are baptized, practicing Christians from other denominations who seek entry into the Catholic Church.

In the case of children who have reached the age of reason, the proper pastor should be consulted for information about Baptism and the other Sacraments of Initiation.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is not for adult candidates for confirmation who have already received their First Eucharist in the Catholic Church. They should have their own formation process and be confirmed at a celebration other than the Easter Vigil.

What does the process look like?

The Rite of Christian Initiation is based on the principle that the process of conversion proceeds gradually, in stages. Progress from one stage to the next is marked by a liturgical celebration in the midst of the parish community. The experience and needs of those in each category described above differ, and so the length of time may vary for each person. Nevertheless, there are certain similarities among all the groups and the process they will experience, and these can be listed as follows:

Precatechumenate

The first stage is called the period of inquiry (or the precatechumenate). This is when the individual first expresses an interest in becoming a Christian or a Catholic, and begins to explore, with the help of the parish community, what his or her relationship with Christ might be and how that might be enriched and deepened by joining this Christian community. There is no liturgical rite to mark the beginning of this stage. This period of inquiry may last several months or several years and ends either when the inquirer decides against continuing in this direction or when the inquirer feels ready to move on and the community is prepared to welcome him or her.

Catechumenate

The second stage is called the catechumenate and, for the unbaptized listed above, who are now called catechumens, should last no less than one full year. For the baptized but uncatechized the period should be a similar length. For the candidates for full communion, this stage could well be much shorter. The Rite of Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens and the Rite of Welcoming mark the beginning of this stage. Catechesis for this period is rooted in the Lectionary and the Word as it is proclaimed in the midst of the community. This is also a time for the catechumen or candidate to learn how to live as a Catholic Christian. This period ends when the catechumens and candidates express their desire to receive the sacraments of initiation and the community acknowledges their readiness.

Purification and Enlightenment

The third stage is the period of purification and enlightenment and coincides with Lent. During this time the elect (formerly the catechumens) and the candidates enter into a period of intense preparation and prayer which includes the three public celebrations of the scrutinies and is marked by the presentations of the Creed and the Lord's Prayer. The Rite of Election and the Call to Continuing Conversion are celebrated at the beginning of this stage. This period ends with the celebration of baptism, confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. (Note: only the elect are baptized. All the groups are confirmed and welcomed to the table.)

Mystagogy

The fourth stage is the period of post baptismal catechesis or mystagogy. At this time, the newly initiated explore their experience of being fully initiated through participation with all the faithful at Sunday Eucharist and through appropriate catechesis. The period formally lasts through the Easter season and may be marked by a parish celebration on or near Pentecost. On a more informal level, mystagogy is a lifelong process, one that all Christians are engaged in, as we all work to deepen our sense of what it means to live the Christian life.
It is important to note that those who fall into the third category above (candidates for full communion) do not always need to take part in the full process. Especially if they have been actively living the Christian life in another denomination, they are likely in need of very little catechesis and may be welcomed into the Church on any Sunday after a short period of preparation. According to the National Statutes for the Catechumenate, "Those baptized persons who have lived as Christians and need only instruction in the Catholic tradition and a degree of probation within the Catholic community should not be asked to undergo a full program parallel to the catechumenate."

St. Rosalia, daughter of Sinibald, Lord of Roses and Quisquina, was a descendant of the great Charlemagne. She was born at Palermo in Sicily. In her youth, her heart turned from earthly vanities to God. She left her home and took up her abode in a cave, on the walls of which she wrote these words: "I, Rosalia, daughter of Sinibald, Lord of Roses and Quisquina, have taken the resolution to live in this cave for the love of my Lord, Jesus Christ." She remained there entirely hidden from the world.
She practiced great mortifications and lived in constant communion with God. Afterward she transferred her abode to Mount Pellegrino, about three miles from Palermo, in order to triumph entirely over the instincts of flesh and blood, in sight of her paternal home. She is said to have appeared after death and to have revealed that she spent several years in a little excavation near the grotto. She died alone, in 1160, ending her strange and wonderful life unknown to the world. Her body was discovered several centuries later, in 1625, during the pontificate of Pope Urban VIII. Her feast day is September 4th.

The Holy Rosary

"Step-By-Step" Instructions for Praying The Rosary

1. Begin by holding the crucifix, saying "In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (making the sign of the Cross while doing that), then say the Apostles Creed.
   
2. On the single bead just above the cross, pray the "Our Father." This and all prayers of the rosary are meditative prayers.

3. The next cluster has 3 beads. The "Hail Mary" prayer is said on these three beads. You pray the 3 Hail Marys while meditating on the three divine virtues of faith, hope, and love/charity.
   
4. On the chain or cord after the three beads, say the "Glory be..."
   
5. On the next bead, which is a single bead, you announce the first divine mystery of contemplation.  For example, if it were a Monday, you would say the first Joyful Mystery is "The Annunciation", at this point you pray the "Our Father" prayer.
   
6. Now this will bring you to the first decade, or set of 10 beads of the Rosary.  You will then pray 10 Hail Marys while contemplating the first mystery, example: The Annunciation.
   
7. After the 10th Hail Mary you will have completed the first of 5 decades which make up a Chaplet of the Rosary. You now come to another single bead, at this point, you pray the... Glory be to the Father... then (on the same bead) pray the O My Jesus... then (on the same bead) announce the next or second mystery. For example: if its Monday and your praying the Joyful Mysteries, the second Joyful Mystery is The Visitation.   At this point you pray the Our Father....
   
8. You will now come to the second decade or group of 10 beads, you will now pray the 10 Hail Marys while contemplating the appropriate mystery.
   
9. You continue to pray the rosary the same way throughout. If your intention is to pray a Chaplet (a single set of mysteries) at the end of the fifth mystery you will come back to the joiner, this is where the decades all join with the lower part of the rosary which contains the cross.  When you come to the joiner, you decide whether or not you wish to say another Chaplet or end.  If you decide to say another Chaplet you simply announce the next mystery and continue. If you wish to end, you simply say the Glory Be To The Father, the O My Jesus, The Our Father and end the rosary with the Hail Holy Queen and the sign of the Cross........

St. Gregory, born at Rome about the year 540, was the son of Gordianus, a wealthy senator, who later renounced the world and became one of the seven deacons of Rome. After he had acquired the usual thorough education, Emperor Justin the Younger appointed him, in 574, Chief Magistrate of Rome, though he was only thirty-four years of age.

After the death of his father, he built six monasteries in Sicily and founded a seventh in his own house in Rome, which became the Benedictine Monastery of St. Andrew. Here, he himself assumed the monastic habit in 575, at the age of thirty-five.
After the death of Pelagius, St. Gregory was chosen Pope by the unanimous consent of priests and people. Now began those labors which merited for him the title of Great. His zeal extended over the entire known world, he was in contact with all the Churches of Christendom and, in spite of his bodily sufferings, and innumerable labors, he found time to compose a great number of works. He is known above all for his magnificent contributions to the Liturgy of the Mass and Office. He is one of the four great Doctors of the Latin Church. He died March 12, 604. He is the patron of teachers.

³ He got into one of the boats -- it was Simon's -- and asked him to put out a little from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the crowds from the boat.
⁴ When he had finished speaking he said to Simon, 'Put out into deep water and pay out your nets for a catch.'
⁵ Simon replied, 'Master, we worked hard all night long and caught nothing, but if you say so, I will pay out the nets.'
⁶ And when they had done this they netted such a huge number of fish that their nets began to tear,
⁷ so they signalled to their companions in the other boat to come and help them; when these came, they filled both boats to sinking point.
⁸ When Simon Peter saw this he fell at the knees of Jesus saying, 'Leave me, Lord; I am a sinful man.'
⁹ For he and all his companions were completely awestruck at the catch they had made;
¹⁰ so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were Simon's partners. But Jesus said to Simon, 'Do not be afraid; from now on it is people you will be catching.'
¹¹ Then, bringing their boats back to land they left everything and followed him.

Papa Francis asema badilisheni mioyo yenu ili kutoa ushuhuda kama wakristo

Ipo hatari kubwa ya kijifikira ya kwamba kila kitu ni sawa, na mbaya zaidi ni kujifikiria wewe ni zaidi ya wengine, kwasababu ya kufuata sheria , mila na  desturi. Hata kama hatupendi ndugu , lakini  tunayo miyo migumu , kujidai, na kiburi.

Ni maneno ambayo baba Mtakatifu Fransis aliyasema wakati kwa maubiri wakati wa sala ya malaika wa Bwana  29 Agosti akichambua  Injili ya Jumapili ambayo Yesu alikuwa akiongea na waandishi na wafarisayo juu ya thamani ya mila na desturi ya zamani.
Amri zilizo wekwa na binadamu, siyo amri za Mungu , inabidi watu wafanye utofauti, Akimtaja nabii Isaya ambaye aliwataadhalisha  watu ya kuwa amri moja isichukuliwe kamwe nafasi ya mwingine, na zaidi akikimbuka maneno ya Yesu, “Ninyi mwaiacha amri ya Mungu , na kuyashika mapokeo ya wanadamu.
Papa aliendelea ;Waandishi na wafarisayo walikuwa wakiweka sheria kali ambazo waliweka ziwe kama sheria kweli  za dini, lakini Yesu anawafindisha ya kuwa kuna jambo jingine. Papa anaeleza juu ya utofauti wa sheria hizi, ya kuwa  Kufuata amri zilizoandikwa na binadamu  , ni kitu ambacho ni tasa  kama hizi amri  hazibadilishi mioyo na kuwa kitu halisi: kama vile kufungua moyo kwa Mungu na katika neno lake, katika sala, kwa kutafuta haki na amani, kuwasaidia masikini , wadhaifu , na wanaoteswa.
Akiangalia mtazamo halisi wa maisha ya Jumiya ya kanisa alisema: Wote tunatambua katika jumuiya zetu, katika parokia zetu , na mitaa yetu, ni jinsi gani inavyotia haibu  katika kanisa  kwa wale watu ambao wanadai ni wakatoliki na  mara kwa mara wanakwenda kanisani, lakini baadaye katika maisha yao ya kila siku , hawajali familia, wanasengenya wengine, na unafiki, hizo ndizo Tabia  Yesu anahukumu, kwasababu hazitoi ushuhuda wa kikristo.
Ni katika Yesu, kuna maisha alisema Papa ,, na hekima yake inatuokoa katika tuhuma za namana hiyo “ siyo mambo ya kijuu juu yanayotufanya tuwe watakatifu au kutokuwa watakatifu, bali ni moyo unaojieleza nia ya ndani , uchaguzi na utashi wa kufanya jambo kwaajili ya upendo wa Mungu .
Papa hana wasiwasi juu ya hilo maana alisisitiza , bila moyo uliotakasika, haiwezekani ukawa na mikono iliyo safi kabisa na midomo inayotamka maneno yenye ukweli , wa  upendo, wa  huruma , wa  msamaha. Alisistiza.
Tabia za kijuu juu , ni matokeo ya kile tulichokiamu katika mioyo yetu, na siyo tofauti.Kwa tabia ya kijuu tu amabayo moyo haukubadilikam unaonyesha ni jinsi gani sisi siyo wakaristo wa kwelina hivyo Papa alawataka watu kufanya juuhi ya kwanza ya kujali  undani wa moyo .
Mpaka  kati ya wema na ubaya hautoki   nje  yetu bali uko ndani yetu: Tunaweza kujiuliza ,je  moyo wangu wangu uko wapi? Bwana Yesu alisema, "mahali palipo tunu ndipo moyo wako ulipo”Je Tunu yangu ni ipi? je ni Yesu na mafundisho yake?  Je ni  moyo mwema na  tunu au kitu kingine?
Alimazia mahubiri yake  na  maneno mengine ya Yesu yasemayo, “hakuna kitu kilicho nje ya mtu ambacho kikimwingia chaweza kumtia unajisi, bali vile vimtokavyo , ndivyo vimtiavyo unajisi yule mtu” (Mk 7,15)

Józef Wesolowski amefariki kawaida

Uchunguzi wa  mwili wa Askofu Józef Wesolowski, umekamilika na matokeo kwamba amekufa kifo cha kawaida. 

Kufuatia kifo cha ghafla, kilichotokea Alhamisi Augosti 27 ndani nyumba ya Vatican,  kwa Joseph Wesolowski , aliyekuwa Mjumbe wa  Kitume huko San Domenico,  Ofisi ya utetezi wa   Sheria Vatican, kama sehemu ya majukumu ya mamlaka ya sheria Vatican, imetangaza kwamba , Marehemu  Josef Wesolowski  amefariki kwa kifo cha kawaida.  Maelezo haya yametolewa baada ya kutekelezwa agizo la mwili wa marehemu uchunguzwe kitalaam kujua chanzo au asili ya kifo hicho. Na hivyo Mamlaka ya sheria iliteua Tume maalum ya wataalamu tatu, chini ya uratibu na Prof John Arcudi, Profesa wa uchunguzi wa kidaktari katika Chuo Kikuu cha Rome "Tor Vergata".

Uchunguzi ulifanyika  siku ya Ijumaa alasiri matokeo yake yamethibitisha  kwamba ni kifo cha kawaida, kilichotokana na mapigo ya moyo kusimamisha. Mara kilipotokea kifo hiki, Ofisi ya utetezi wa Sheria, ilitaka kupata  matokeo ya vipimo vya uchunguzi wa maabara uliofanywa na Tume hiyo.
Marehemu  Józef Wesolowski  alizaliwa Julai 15, 1948 Poland. Baada ya kukamilisha masomo yake ya kikuhani, alilitumikia Kanisa katika ngazi mbalimbali, na mwaka 2008 aliteuliwa na Papa Bendikto XVI,  kuwa Mjumbe wa Kitume wa Papa katika Jamhuri ya Kisiwa cha Domenicani hadi Agosti 13, 2013, alipoachishwa kazi hiyo na Vatican kufuatia tuhuma za kudhulumu watoto kinjisia. Mwaka 2014, alivuliwa cheo cha Askofu Mkuu na kinga ya kidiplomasia ili  Mamlaka katika Jamhuri ya Domenicani iweze kuchunguza madai ya unyanyasaji wa watoto yaliyotolewa  dhidi yake. Hivyo vyombo vya kisheria vya Vatican vilikuwa bado vikifuatilia kesi yake.

Habari kutoka Mjini Morogoro maeneo ya Mzumbe ambapo Msanii wa bongo fleva na mziki wa asili ya Kitanzania Batarokota alifanya ziara ya kwenda Mjini Morogoro kwa ajili ya kumjulia hari Babu yake Abednego Shindika hapo jana.Katika ziara hiyo Batarokota aliongozana na mdogo wake Daniel Renatus Maige walifika maeneo anayoishi Babu yake majira ya saa kumi jioni. Katika hari ya kushangaza Batarokota na Daniel walipo fika eneo ambalo linamilikiwa na Babu yao Abednego Shindika walishangaa kumuona Babu yao alie kuwa mgonjwa sana akiwa anafanya kazi za kuchonga vyuma na Babu huyo alivyo waona wajukuu zake akija alitoa chozi na kutakasimama ili awapokee wajukuuu zake lakini Batarokota alimuwahi na kumupa poa na kushusha maombi dakika 10 ya kumshukuru Mungu kwa kumlejeshea Babu yao afya njema.

ACT-Wazalendo blames NEC, CCM over contestants' objection

The Alliance for Change and Transparency (ACT-Wazalendo) has blamed the National Electoral Commission (NEC) and the ruling party for accepting objection and disqualification of its constituency candidates filed by ruling party contestants for no proper explanation.

 

ACT-Wazalendo party leader Zitto Kabwe told the press yesterday that his party had appealed against the decision of disqualifying its contender for Kinondoni constituency to no avail.

 

Kabwe said in Kinondoni Constituency, CCM candidate Idd Azan played dirty politics of objecting the candidate for ACT-Wazalendo Karama Masoud claiming he was not a party member.

 

However, he said this was despite the party presenting a letter to the returning officer in the constituency showing party membership for their candidate and his right to represent the party in the constituency come October general election.

 

“Dirty tricks are being used by CCM candidates to object our candidates as it has happened in various other areas in including Singida Mashariki where Chadema candidate Tundu Lissu filed an objection against our candidate and was later disqualified to contest,” he said.

 

He mentioned other areas as Rungwe Constituency, where the CCM candidate Saul Amon began campaigning before the scheduled time as NEC remained mum despite his party filing for complaints to relevant authorities.

 

According to him, there is favouritism to some of political parties because his party had filed a complaint as to why the Kagera Ward Councilor candidate in Kigoma Region under our ticket was removed from the contest without success.

 

“We have already appealed the incident to the NEC and are expecting answers by Monday,” he said.  

 

He added, “We have also managed to have 219 out of the 265 constituencies countrywide becoming the second party after CCM to have filed many candidates”.

 

According to him, his party has filed 175 contestants in the mainland and 44 out of 50 constituencies in the isle while giving a 25 percent chances on women in all its constituencies to hold political positions.

 

The party is expected to launch its campaign this Sunday at Mbagala Zakheem in the city.

Tanzania hatarini kukumbwa na El-nino.

Mkurugenzi wa Mamlaka ya Hali ya Hewa nchini (TMA), Dk. Agness Kijazi .

Nchi za Afrika Mashariki na kati ikiwamo Tanzania zipo katika wasiwasi wa kukumbwa na mvua za El-nino kutokana na kuongezeka kwa joto katika Bahari ya Pacific.

 

Akizungumza kwenye mkutano wa 41 wa masuala ya hali ya hewa na utabiri unaofanyika jijini Dar es Salaam, Mkurugenzi wa Mamlaka ya Hali ya Hewa nchini (TMA), Dk. Agness Kijazi (pichani), alisema kitaalam kuna uwezekano wa kutokea kwa mvua kubwa katika nchi za Afrika Mashariki katika kipindi cha Septemba mpaka Desemba, mwaka huu.

 

Alisema  mkutano huo unawahusisha wataalam mbalimbali kutoka katika nchi 11 na unaangalia mifumo ya hali ya hewa kwa Afrika Mashariki na tayari wameona viashiria vya kutokea kwa mvua hizo.

 

“Mvua hizo hutokea pale kiwango cha joto kinapoongezeka kwa kiasi kikubwa kwenye bahari na mpaka sasa tumeona joto limeongezeka kwa kiasi kikubwa katika bahari ya Pacific,” alisema Kijazi. Alisema baada ya kuangalia mifumo ya hali ya hewa katika eneo la Afrika Mashariki, wataalamu watarudi katika nchi zao na kuangalia mifumo ya hali ya hewa katika maeneo yao na kutoa utabiri kwa wananchi husika kwa kipindi Septemba mpaka Desemba.  

 

“Hapa kwetu Tanzania tutatoa utabiri wa mvua kwa miezi mitatu yaani Septemba mpaka Desemaba ifikapo Septemba Mosi mwaka huu,” aliongezea kusema.  Kijazi alitoa wito kwa wananchi na wadau wa hali ya hewa kufuatilia utabiri utakaotolewa Septemba Mosi, mwaka huu ili kujua hali itakavyokuwa.

Tume ya Taifa ya Uchaguzi (Nec), imetangaza kesho kuwa ndiyo siku ya kuanza kwa vyama vya siasa kampeni za kuwanadi wagombea wake wanaowania nafasi mbalimbali za uongozi.

 

Nafasi zinazowaniwa na wagombea hao ni za udiwani, ubunge na urais.

 

Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) kilichoko madarakani katika serikali inayomalizika muda wake, kimemteua Waziri wa Ujenzi, Dk. John Magufuli, kupeperusha bendera yake kwa nafasi ya urais.

 

CCM imejipanga kuzindua kampeni zake Jumapili wiki hii katika viwanja vya Jangwani jijini Dar es Salaam.

 

Naibu Katibu Mkuu wa CCM Tanzania Bara, Rajabu Luhwavi, alikaririwa juzi na gazeti hili akisema baada ya uzinduzi huo jijini Dar es Salaam, itafanya kampeni zake katika maeneo yote ya nchi na imepanga kufanya mikutano 1,000 sawa na wastani wa mikutamo 15 kwa siku moja.

 

Aidha, alisema chama hicho kimejipanga kuhakikisha kinawafikishia watu wote ujumbe unaokusudiwa katika takriban siku 63 za kampeni.

 

Kwa upande wa mgombea urais wa Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (Chadema) kupitia Umoja wa Katiba ya Wananchi (Ukawa), Waziri Mkuu wa zamani, Edward Lowassa, chama hicho kilipanga kuzindua kampeni zake kesho Jumamosi katika Uwanja wa Taifa.

 

Hata hivyo, serikali imezuia shughuli za kisiasa kufanyikia katika uwanja huo wa kisasa wenye uwezo wa kubeba watu waliokaa kwenye viti 60,000.

 

Hivyo, hadi kufikia jana, Ukawa walikuwa hawajatangaza rasmi mahali gani jijini Dar es Salaam watazindulia kampeni zao.

 

Nipashe linapenda kutoa rai kwa vyama vyote vya siasa vinavyoshiriki uchaguzi mkuu katika nafasi yoyoye ile ya uongozi, kuhakikisha kwamba kampeni zinafanywa kistaarabu.

 

Tunatarajia wagombea watajikita zaidi kuelezea ilani za vyama vyao jinsi vilivyojipanga kuwaletea wananchi maendeleo na si kusimama majukwaani na kuporomosha matusi ama vijembe visivyo na tija.

 

CCM  tayari imetangaza timu yake ya kampeni ilivyosheheni makada 32 wenye sifa za kila aina.

 

Watanzania wanatarajia kuwasikia makada hao wakimwaga sera za chama chao kiungwana ili kuwashawishi wawapigie kura wagombea wao.

 

Kama ilivyo kwa CCM, basi pia Watanzania watapenda kusikia sera za kutoka upande wa upinzani zikielezwa kwa lugha ya kistaarabu ili kutoa nafasi kwa wananchi kuzipima na hatimaye ifikapo Oktoba 25, mwaka huu, watumie haki yao ya kikatiba kuwapata viongozi wao kutoka katika vyama hivyo.

 

Watanzania yatupasa kufahamu kwamba amani iliyopo ikitoweka, ni kazi kubwa kuirejesha.

 

Ni kwa msingi huo ndipo tunapowasihi wagombea wa vyama vyote kuacha kufanya kampeni za kukamiana na kutumia lugha za matusi kati ya wagombea wenyewe kwa wenyewe ama vyama kwa vyama.

 

Nec nayo inapaswa kuhakikisha kwamba inapanga vizuri mikutano ya kampeni pasipo kuingiliana kwa ratiba ama viwanja vya mikutano kwani hali hiyo yaweza kuwa mwanzo wa uvunjifu wa amani.

Alisema wakati alipokuwa shuleni alikuwa maarufu sana kwa uchoraji na mcheza ngoma za kisukuma na alikuwa mwalimu wa  wanafunzi wenzake na watu wengine, na licha ya kwamba alikuwa analipwa ujira mdogo, alikuwa anafurahi kuona watu waliomzunguka wamependeza na michoro yake.

 

"Walikuwa wakinilipa pesa ndogo Sh. 500 tu, lakini nilikuwa napenda kuchora na walikuwa wanapendeza hivyo, hali hiyo iliendelea hata nilipokuwa nyumbani. Kuchora na ngoma ni vipaji vyangu , ndiyo maana najitahidi sana niwe na shule ya sanaa," alisema Batarokota.

 

Batarokota alisema angeweza kuwa na shule ya sanaa za kale na mababu,"Unajua mimi jina langu kwa sasa ni kubwa na thamani yake pia ni kubwa, hivyo siwezi kusema nifungue tu kijishule. Napaswa kufungua shule ya Kimataifa kubwa yenye sifa kama ya jina mababu zetu kwama Mwanamarundi, na wengine wengi, kiasi kwamba hata mtu akiangalia na kuambiwa hii shule ni sanaa za makabila makubwa  akubali na kusema 'yes'
